CounselWorks is seeking an experienced regulatory compliance professional to service and manage client relationships.  Responsibilities will include:

• supervising junior compliance staff in connection with outsourced compliance work, i.e., emails, personal trading and execution quality reviews;
• drafting and revising compliance manuals and codes of ethics;
• conducting forensic testing and mock regulatory reviews;
• preparing and delivering compliance training;
• advising on all aspects of regulatory compliance matters;
• managing client relationships including hosting clients at firm events.

The successful candidate will have:

• an undergraduate degree - JD a plus but not necessary;
• at least 3 year's experience as with the SEC's examination or investment management division or relevant in - house experience with a private fund or other asset management firm;
• excellent organizational and staff management skills;
• a self-starting, personable and team player approach.
